When Love Comes

When  new love Comes

and it  begins to blossom

It will be   pure and  fresh  with a sprinkling of  zest and  spice

 that  will  gradually

 begin    on a slow burn

and   eventually    our hearts  will  melt 

and  the red fire

 will consume  us both

but  with a promise 

that the love and passion   will forever stay alight
