It is such a wonderful poem, I think it special to care and give of one's body and warmth in passionate love and sharing of needs. To me the rose is ecstasy, lovely blooms and sensual thorns. hmmm
What a nice way to describe the Rose Joline, you are quite right too the Rose is very demure , beautiful , fragrant and of course very sharp and thorny on her stems!
